Corporate Governance.

Supporting our community with integrity, transparency & care.

At Cura Aged Care, strong governance is at the heart of how we serve our community. As the Aged & Community Services branch of the Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC), we are guided by clear leadership, ethical decision‑making, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of the people who rely on us.

We operate within the broader multicultural community of our region, ensuring our governance practices reflect both the expectations of the aged care sector and the diverse cultural needs of our participants and families.

Our Commitment to Good Governance.

As part of MCCGC — the peak body for multicultural communities on the Gold Coast — Cura is supported by a robust governance framework that prioritises transparency, accountability, and community trust. Our Board, Executive team, and advisory committees work together to ensure our services remain safe, culturally responsive, and aligned with best practice.

We maintain strong systems for risk management, safeguarding, conflict management, and continuous improvement. These practices help us deliver care that is not only high‑quality, but also respectful, inclusive, and grounded in the values of our organisation.

Transparency is one of our core principles. By making our governance statements and reports publicly available, we ensure participants, families, and stakeholders can clearly understand our commitments and responsibilities.

Our Standards & Compliance.

Cura Aged Care meets all requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring safe, person‑centred, and high‑quality care.

We are also a Child Safe Organisation, complying with Queensland’s Child Safe Standards to ensure safe, respectful environments wherever children and aged care services may intersect.

Our team follows the Aged Care Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations for safe, ethical, and respectful behaviour in all interactions.
