- Tasks that are the responsibility of a landlord, housing authority, or private insurance
- Major renovations or structural repairs

No. Only minor, safety‑related repairs are included. Larger jobs require a qualified tradesperson.
Who pays for materials or small items?
Your out-of-pocket costs will depend on the funding program you’ve been approved for. Under Support at Home, minor repair items—such as a replacement tap washer or door handle—may be covered as part of your service. If you’re receiving services through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), these repair expenses aren’t funded and will need to be paid by the participant.
Can you help with tasks inside the home?
Yes — as long as the task is minor, safety‑related, and part of essential home maintenance.
What if I rent my home?
Tasks that are the responsibility of your landlord or housing provider cannot be funded through this service.
