About Cura

Compassionate, Culturally Supportive Care.

Cura Aged Care provides warm, culturally supportive in‑home aged care to help older people live well, safely, and independently in their homes.

Cura Aged Care
& MCCGC.

We are part of Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC) a trusted community organisation with a long history of supporting people from diverse cultural backgrounds across the Gold Coast.

For many years, MCCGC has walked alongside individuals and families through settlement services, community programs, and advocacy — helping people feel connected, confident, and supported. As our community has grown older, we recognised the need for aged care that honours culture, language, and lived experience.

Cura Aged Care was created as a natural extension of this work. We provide personalised support in the home, focusing on independence, safety, and dignity at every stage of ageing

As a not‑for‑profit charity, our focus is always on people. Any surplus is reinvested back into our services and community so we can continue delivering meaningful, culturally responsive care.

What We Do.

We provide flexible in‑home aged care services tailored to your needs, preferences, and goals.

Whether you need support with everyday activities, personal care, social connection, or help navigating My Aged Care, we’re here to guide you. Our approach is practical, respectful, and centred on what matters most to you.

Cura: A Name That Reflects Our Purpose.

“Cura” means care in Latin — a simple word that captures our commitment to supporting an inclusive, diverse community. We help older people stay active, connected, and well by providing access to health and wellbeing services, social engagement, and personalised in‑home support.

Our Mission.

To facilitate opportunities for people to thrive by promoting health and wellbeing, embracing diversity, and creating connections.

Our Values.

Our Team.

Our team is at the heart of Cura Aged Care. Our support workers and care coordinators are experienced, compassionate, and committed to providing person‑centred care.

We know that the right support starts with the right connection. That’s why we take care in matching you with staff who understand your preferences, background, and needs. Many of our team members speak more than one language and bring lived cultural understanding to their work.

As a registered aged care provider, Cura is also a Child Safe Organisation, meeting Queensland’s Child Safe Standards to ensure safe, respectful environments wherever children and aged care services may intersect.

We work alongside you — and, where appropriate, your family — to ensure your care feels consistent, supportive, and tailored to you.

Our Impact.

Our impact is seen in the everyday moments that matter: supporting someone to remain at home, helping people stay connected to their community, and providing reassurance to families.

Cura Aged Care is a not-for-profit organisation. We focus on building and nurturing a caring and inclusive community.  At Cura Aged Care, we proudly support our community and have several opportunities for volunteers to join us in providing seniors or persons living with disabilities with additional support or companionship. Becoming a volunteer at Cura is a great way to meet new people, give back to your community and enrich the lives of our clients.
