Senior & Aged Care Social Support Groups

Getting out in the community can be difficult for seniors, especially those who are less mobile or have difficulty communicating. We connect seniors through social adventures by organising aged care social outings, to help them explore new destinations, engage in fun activities, learn new skills and create lasting social connections with others in a supportive and inclusive environment.

These aged care social outings offer seniors social stimulation, independence, relaxation, learning opportunities, and support from the local community, all of which boosts their quality of life. Cura helps by offering both individual and social groups for the elderly.

Our Benefits:

Individual Social Outings For Seniors

We offer individual social outings for seniors that are specially customised to cater to your interests. Whether you have a particular destination in mind or want to explore something new, our team is here to make it happen.

From leisurely strolls along the beach to visits to local landmarks or enjoying a cup of coffee at a charming café, our individual outings are designed to provide you with experiences that bring joy and fulfilment.

Outings In Social Groups For Seniors

Our aged care social outings are designed to create social connections among seniors. On these outings, seniors have the opportunity to meet new people, build friendships, and engage in fun shared experiences.

Whether it’s a group visit to the surf club for a relaxing day by the sea, exploring museums together, visiting our Wellness Centres or doing other activities, our group outings provide a sense of friendship, support, and fun.

Cura Aged Care Can Help With Seniors Support Groups & Outings

We feel that seniors should have the freedom and independence to choose their preferred outings based on their unique interests. Our Individual and Group Outings offer a wide range of destination options, and we allow the groups to dictate where they would like to go.

Whether it’s soaking up the coastal breeze, having a chat over tea, or immersing in the rich history and culture of museums or art galleries, we provide an array of experiences to cater to diverse interests and preferences.

We also take groups to our Wellness Centres, where seniors can connect with others and get involved with different events and Cultural Clubs. In these clubs, seniors from similar cultures can congregate and socialise. They can feel comfortable enough to engage in culturally relevant activities and share their favourite foods.

The dedicated team at Cura Aged Care are committed to creating memorable and fun experiences for seniors through our Individual and Group Outings. We understand the value of social connections, personal growth, and shared adventures in enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Join us on these outings and start your journey towards new friendships, exciting experiences, and an active and vibrant lifestyle.

We highly recommend Cura Aged Care as a Home Care Provider. We had a very unfortunate time with our first provider and after careful consideration we joined Cura and have had a wonderful relationship with them for the past 2 years. The greatest bliss for us has been the fact that we have one continuous carer, Robin, who is trustworthy and so caring of Dot.
