On Tuesday, 17th September, we had the honor of celebrating Respect for the Aged Day (Keiro no Hi) at our Wellness Centre in Ashmore. This meaningful event is dedicated to honoring the wisdom, life experience, and invaluable contributions of our older community members.

We were privileged to welcome special guests, including Consul-General of Japan Mr. Gomakubo Junji, President of the Japanese Society of Gold Coast Mrs. Yukari Ando, and Police Liaison Officer Mr. Nao Hirano (QPS), who shared their valuable insights with our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Mr. Hiro Hasegawa and Acuplus Natural Health’s Mrs. Helen for their generous donations to our Japanese seniors.

The day was a tremendous success, filled with heartfelt recognition, engaging conversations, cultural appreciation, and of course, delicious food!

A special thank you to our amazing team for their dedication and hard work in making this event unforgettable. We couldn’t have done it without you!
