We are looking for an experienced and like-minded Project Officer (PO)(Aged Care Transition) to lead and support key projects related to Aged Care Reform and Transition to the Support at Home Program. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Project Officer will lead and oversee all aspects of the change plan. Using contemporary project management methodology, the PO will coordinate activities within budget, ensuring the timely achievement of the project’s objectives.

About Yourself
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide end to end project planning and delivery: including risk mitigation, the coordination of effort, and implementing the project to ensure timely on-budget agreed project outcomes.
    • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting and evaluation
    • Ensure information is communicated clearly
    • Successfully bring people on the change journey
    • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups to achieve project objectives.
    • Gather and compile data to identify issues and track project progress against milestones and deliverables.
    • Participate in designated projects and organizational change activities.
What you’ll need

What you will need:

  • Hold Certificate IV or higher in Project Management/Health Management/Aged Care.
  • A minimum of three years of proven experience in project management, particularly in aged care or a related sector.
  • Hold a current National Police and Driver’s License
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation, negotiation, and liaison skills.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to identify and develop solutions to complex issues proactively.
  • Well-developed computer skills, Microsoft Office, and administration skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
