Aged Care Reforms Mean the Standard of Care Is Evolving

Aged care support in Australia is constantly evolving. The reform aims to empower individuals, promote choice, and enhance the overall quality of aged care services in Australia. Our team is dedicated to improving the quality, safety and choice in aged care. We want to create a simpler system, including face-to-face support.

At Cura Aged Care, we will keep adapting our services to align with evolving standards. But for our customers, it can be difficult to keep up with changes and what the implications of those changes are. We can help you to understand Australia’s Aged Care Reform and learn how any changes might apply to you.

Our Benefits:

What Is The Aged Care Reform?

The Aged Care Reform is a comprehensive set of changes and initiatives aimed at improving the aged care system in Australia. This reform is a response to the changing needs of Australia’s ageing population. It aims to improve and enhance the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of aged care services, especially as our ageing population continues to expand.

How Will The Aged Care Reform Impact You?

In future, the Aged Care Reform might impact the way you access aged care services or packages across the country. But the reform seeks to expand access to services, not reduce it. Therefore, you shouldn’t see any reduction in your access to resources or services. The specific details of the Aged Care Reform will vary over time, as new policies and initiatives are introduced to address the changing needs of the ageing population. Therefore, it’s difficult to say how each individual’s experience may change. That said, the aim of the reform is to further enhance the quality and accessibility of aged care services in Australia.

How Cura Aged Care Will Implement The Aged Care Reform

The Aged Care Reform hasn’t been finalised yet but, as it progresses, we are committed to keeping up with the changes. We are continuously improving our services and working closely with regulatory bodies and government agencies to ensure that our practices align with evolving expectations.

We view the Aged Care Reform as an opportunity for positive change. As a result, we will support any initiative that helps to enhance the lives of elderly individuals. At Cura we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and support and promoting independence and dignity for all those we serve.

We highly recommend Cura Aged Care as a Home Care Provider. We had a very unfortunate time with our first provider and after careful consideration we joined Cura and have had a wonderful relationship with them for the past 2 years. The greatest bliss for us has been the fact that we have one continuous carer, Robin, who is trustworthy and so caring of Dot.
