On the 3rd of April, we embarked on a fun-filled bus trip with our seniors, starting bright and early at 8 am. Our clients, all smiles and excitement, were picked up from their homes, ready for a day of adventure. The anticipation was palpable as we made our way to our first stop, Cascade Gardens. Cascade Gardens, a favourite picnic and barbecue spot on the Gold Coast, was the perfect setting for our morning tea. Nestled along the Nerang River, this beautiful park offers lush greenery, serene walking paths, and a tranquil atmosphere. As we arrived, the delightful aromas of freshly brewed tea and coffee filled the air. Our seniors, eager to catch up with friends, engaged in lively conversations, sharing stories and laughter. The gardens provided a picturesque backdrop for our seniors to reconnect, showcasing genuine friendship and how much they had missed one another. After enjoying their tea, some of our seniors took leisurely walks, while others participated in table games, adding to the morning’s enjoyment. After a refreshing morning at Cascade Gardens, we headed to The Star Casino for a leisurely lunch. The Star Casino, a renowned entertainment destination on the Gold Coast, offers a variety of dining options and a vibrant atmosphere. Our seniors relished the opportunity to dine with friends, savoring delicious meals and engaging in more delightful conversations.
The outing was not just about the destinations but also about the journey and the company. It was heartwarming to see our seniors so engaged and happy, creating fun memories and strengthening their bonds with one another.
