Laura came to our team as a Home Care Worker and has recently moved into one of our NDIS Support Coordinator roles.
Laura is Spanish speaking and was born in Colombia. Laura understands the complex emotions and barriers that comes with moving to a foreign country. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Urban Planning and worked as a Case Manager for a city council in Colombia.
Australia’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a confusing space, and one that requires guidance so the participant can get the most out of their funding to see positive and lasting outcomes.
Laura has always been passionate about connecting with others and understanding people’s realities. What she loves most about her role is supporting our participants to achieve their goals and develop their full potential.
