CÜRA is a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to improving our community through the provision of healthcare services to the aged. We focus on building and nurturing a caring and inclusive community. Over the last two decades – and counting – we have focused on making a long-lasting positive impact through our work.
Discover how far our impact spans.
Our impact starts from within. We cultivate a diverse and inclusive organisational culture that stems from our multicultural background. Our staff speak over 40 different languages and are committed to ensuring that everyone has equal access and opportunities in the workplace.
At CÜRA, we’re proud to advocate for culturally diverse communities and educate schools and workplaces about the benefits of cultural diversity. Our training programs educate students and staff about different cultures and how to embrace them. In this way, they can become more aware of other cultures as well as their own.
Our community development programs support new residents in Australia, assisting them with grants, events, and networking opportunities. These programs assist new members of the community to connect with others, overcome cultural or language barriers, and gain access to the support they need.
We aim to foster greater understanding and empathy for other cultures through our cultural inclusivity training sessions. Strong cultural diversity within organisations can lead to a range of benefits for businesses, from economic benefits to enriching innovation by providing a range of varying perspectives.
