Aged Care Funding With Cura Aged Care

At Cura Aged Care, we believe that everyone deserves to age gracefully.

However, understanding the complex aged care funding services in Australia can be a challenge. Many of our customers are unsure if they are eligible for aged care funding, or how to access it.

As a caring organisation dedicated to providing exceptional support to the ageing community in Australia, we’re here to lend a helping hand.
We know just how important it is to access aged care funding quickly and easily so you can continue living life and maintain your independence.

FAQs

We always try our best to accommodate every customer’s requests and keep the same staff as often as possible.  We suggest you have a small team of two to three people who are able to work with you. This way if a staff member is sick or on holidays, your support can continue without interruption.

Our Home Care packages have a minimum charge of 1 hour for a Home Care Worker visit.

Cura Aged Care is flexible with this. We work around what you require.

It can be the same person but it depends on the service request as it may require speciality staff. Cura Aged Care have subcontractors that specialise in different service requests such as home maintenance, gardening and hairdressing.  Our subcontractors must meet our compliance guidelines before we send them to you.  In some instances when specific training is needed, i.e. Oxygen requirement:  we would allocate a staff member who is trained then facilitate the training for your regular workers.

Personal care is part of our services – Cura Aged Care has Registered Nurses on staff for continence advice and where needed specialist and allied health professionals are called upon to advise.

With all new customer service plans, our Care Advisors discuss your assessed health care needs/goals. Our Care Workers are able to do your domestic assistance.  If our staff are unable to provide a specific service, Cura have contractors who are able to do these services.

Yes Cura staff can either take you shopping or you can have a Care Worker do your shopping and errands for you.

We value the safety of all of our customers and staff and would recommend an OT assessment to determine specific needs, equipment or training if your care requires physical lifting.

Nursing services can provide medication management, injections, and health checks and wound dressings as required.

Kevin & Dot

We highly recommend Cura Aged Care as a Home Care Provider. We had a very unfortunate time with our first provider and after careful consideration we joined Cura and have had a wonderful relationship with them for the past 2 years. The greatest bliss for us has been the fact that we have one continuous carer, Robin, who is trustworthy and so caring of Dot.
